About Turtwig
I feel like every artist eventually does a recreation of their favorite Pokemon, so I had to start with the best starter, Turtwig. This was a super fun project. Working off of a simple, flatly colored character really let me go crazy and experimental with the materials,
Using Mari's projection tool, I was able to add photographic detail with high quality photos for the turtle shell and the eyes.
